Please join us at this Opening Reception for "Americans and the Holocaust." This program will introduce guests to the themes of the exhibit and give attendees the opportunity to see the 1,100-square-foot installation. Keynote speaker Prof. Melissa Dinsman, Associate Professor of English at York College (CUNY), will discuss how the information landscape changed in the 1930s and 1940s and how Americans before, during and after WWII received their news not just from newspapers and magazines but from the new technologies of radio and newsreels. The event is free and the general public is invited to attend. Registration closes twelve hours prior to event start time.
