Noted photojournalist Arthur Rothstein traveled to China under the auspices of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) immediately after the Second World War to photograph Jewish refugees. Through his lens he captured the everyday lives and struggles of these refugees as they attempted to rebuild their lives under these difficult circumstances. Dr. Segan, director of the Arthur Rothstein Legacy Project, will show and discuss these images and explain the historical and cultural significance of this incredible legacy.
